Bed + Mattress Combos Under $500 in the GTA

When we checked our prices for this article, we had 10 bed + mattress combos under $500: two in single, four in double, three in queen and one in king. The lowest was $377.99 for a double bed with a euro top mattress. Every one costs less than buying the same bed and mattress separately.

"Bought separately" is the current price of the bed on its own plus the current price of the same mattress size on its own, both in our store.

The difference ranges from $80.00 (IF 5275 + Hybrid Ice, double) to $131.00 (David Bed + Hybrid Ice, queen).

How to pick from the list

Start with the size

Size matters more than anything else on this list, because it decides whether the bed fits your room and who can sleep in it comfortably. Then the mattress type

The combos under $500 use four mattresses:

• 5″ Foam Mattress (Sleep In Regular Foam): the thinnest option here. Many people choose a thinner foam mattress for a guest room, a child's room or occasional use.
• 7″ Prime Foam Mattress: a slightly thicker foam mattress, used in the king combo.
• Rest-o-pedic Euro Top Mattress (Sleep In): a mattress with a euro top layer on one side.
• Hybrid Ice Mattress: a hybrid mattress listed with pocketed coils. It's the mattress in four of the ten combos.

Then the bed style

• Metal frames: the IF 5275, IF 5252 and IF 152 are steel bed frames and are the lower-priced beds in this list.
• Upholstered beds: the IF 137 (grey fabric), IF 5895 (pink velvet), IF 5582 (beige boucle) and IF-180 Dylan (dark grey fabric) have a softer, fabric look.

Combos and the Buy 2 save $60 deal

When you buy 2 or more items, $60 comes off automatically at checkout. A combo is one item. If you buy a bed and a mattress as two separate items, the $60 applies, but we priced every combo to still cost less than that. For example, the queen Bed (IF 5252) and Hybrid Ice Mattress cost $568.99 separately, or $508.99 after the $60 discount. The combo is $457.99.

If you add another item to your order with a combo, such as a nightstand, you have 2 items and the $60 comes off at checkout.
